Never Quit

I read somewhere that while you’re walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, you don’t think of yourself as resilient. Only when you come out on the other side do you realize how you kept going when everyone else quit.
Resiliency is a tough thing to quantify. When I deal with tough situations that never seem to resolve themselves, I usually feel like a quitter no matter what. I’ve dealt with injuries, work stress, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, you name it. Sometimes every day is a struggle.
Life will knock you down. You will fail. Tragedies happen. No one is superhuman.
Keep walking forward. If you can’t walk, crawl. Allow yourself to crawl, but never allow yourself to stop.
You might have to change your goals, maybe radically. You might have to deal with new realities. But neither of those things mean you can’t make progress. It might just look different than you thought.
One day at a time.
